THE FURTHER ADVENTURES OF CUPID AND EROS Named one of the best web series of 2011 by THOSE VIDEO GUYS!
The fine gents at TVGs have been huge supporters of C&E since our start and we’re honored that they chose to single us out amongst all the great content they’ve reviewed over the past year.
We couldn’t be happier to share the news that Bradford Anderson has been nominated for “Best Guest Appearance (Comedy)” for his role as Achilles in C&E episodes 7-9 by the voters of the Indie Soap Awards.
Winners will be announced live at the awards show, hosted by two time Emmy winning actress Martha Byrne, which will be held in NYC on Tuesday Feb 21st.
We’re thrilled to announce the votes of the International Academy of Web Television have chose to recognize C&E with a nomination for “Best Supplemental Content.”
The competition in this category, and all the others, was fierce and we’re proud that we managed to make it into the top five. The winners will be announced Thursday January 12th at the first annual IAWTVAwards during CES 2012. You’ll even be able to stream the awards live if you feel like watching along with us and sending us moral support.
Today, the International Academy of Web Television (or IAWTV) opened up submissions for their first annual IAWTV Awards.
The IAWTV created the awards to “… serve as a platform for members of the IAWTV to honor the best of their profession, while networking among industry luminaries and supporting the IAWTV. Proceeds raised from the show are used for the betterment of the community by providing more member resources as well as professional development and education for professionals working in web television.”
The event will be held on January 12, 2012 during the International CES (Consumer Electronics Show) in Las Vegas. CES is the worlds largest consumer technology and content tradeshow.
We’re thrilled to be submitting season 1 of THE FURTHER ADVENTURES OF CUPID AND EROS to such an exciting new awards show, but we need your help!
You, the fans, are a huge part of C&E. Any success we have we share with you, and so it seems only fitting that we share the process of deciding what episodes of Season 1 we submit to the IAWTV awards with you as well.
What episodes do YOU think we should submit for consideration in the “Best Comedy Web Series” category? Which actors and crew members deserve to be singled out for special recognition and which episodes do YOU think best exemplify their contribution?
